Questions about CVs

How many CV’s can I save in my account?

You can only have one CV per account but you can update and edit them for different sector you are applying for.

Edit, update or replace my CV?

If you want to edit, update or replace your CV, log into your uk.thehrlink.com account. Click Edit or Remove under the action section on your profile then you can edit your CV. Add to your experience, education, skills, or additional information and links by clicking one of the Add links. When you are finished making your changes, remember to click Save. To remove and / or replace your CV, click “bin icon” on the right hand under the action section. After you remove your uk.thehrlink.com CV, you can upload another one.

Can I save jobs for later?

You have to be signed in to uk.thehrlink, to save a job To save a job, click the save link under each job search result. You may also save your job search as a Job Alert email and have new jobs matching your search automatically delivered to you. You may save as many different job searches as you like.

Using uk.thehrlink.com is just like using a general search engine such as Google. You can quickly search from the uk.thehrlink.com Find Jobs Page as follows: Step 1. In the Keyword box, type a description of the kind of job you are looking for – such as a job title, skill or employer name. Step 2. In the Location box, type the city, the state/province/county or the postal code where you want to find a job. Step 3. Click Search or press Enter on your keyboard.

If your search returns a large number of job seeker, you can try the following: Examine the text links in the right column to refine your search. Fill in those that fit what you are looking for, which will return a subset of your original search results. Alternatively, try adding more terms to the keyword box and search again. Also, don’t forget to use the location box – using just your postal code works well.

Can I apply for more than one job?

Yes you can apply for more than one job but you have to be logged into your uk.thehrlink.com to do so.

How long do jobs stay on the site for?

Job adverts stay active on the website for 60 days.

Can I withdraw my application?

Yes you can withdraw you application once it is submitted. All you have to do is go onto your Profile, and click onto your applications. Then under action you can click and withdraw and click confirm.

Confirm Job Alerts?

When you create an alert, we’ll send you a confirmation email. Please check your bulk/spam/trash/deleted folders if you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox. You can expect to start receiving Job Alerts within 24 hours.

Create a Job Alert?

If you would like to be notified by email whenever new jobs that match your criteria become available, you can create a job alert. We’ll then send you a daily email with any new matches to your search criteria. To create a job alert, first browse to uk.thehrlink.com and perform your search. After successfully performing your search, click Get new jobs for this search by email at the top right of the results page. You can also create a Job alert on your profile by clicking Create Alert where you can choose your email frequency and then click save. We’ll then send you a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to activate your alert. After your alert is activated, we’ll send your first job alert email within 24 hours. If you have an uk.thehrlink.com account, you can manage your alerts there as well.

How do I view contact information for Job seekers who have uploaded their CVs?

You can only view job seekers contact information if you have paid for a subscription.

Can a subscription be shared among multiple recruiters?

You can share using a singular account

How do I purchase a subscription?

You purchase a subscription either by clicking download CV packages and select a subscription there or when you post a job the second step will let you choose a subscription, where it will take you to a page to fill out your billing details and then choose either Paypal or bank transfer.

How do I know where my featured jobs will appear?

Your featured job will appear on the top of relevant jobs searches, with all your tags you put in when you create the job.

Where does someone go after clicking on my job?

Once a candidate has clicked on your job they will be taken to a page to read the full job description and be asked to apply for your job.

How do I featured my job?

When you are posting a job, you will be asked to select one of our 4 subscriptions services (Pay as you go, Silver, Gold and Platinum) that featured jobs are a part of. It’s a simple case of choosing the right subscription for your company. Once you have decided you can choose which job post you want to be featured.

What are featured jobs?

Featured jobs are part of four of our subscription packages. The featured job ads will be on top of all relevant job searches and will last for 60 days.

Why is it important to keep my profile up-to-date?

It is important to keep your profile up to date because employers will be able to see if you are still available to hire.

How do I register on uk.thehrlink.com?

You click the register button on the upper right-hand side of the page and register either as a employer or a job seeker.

How do I delete my account?

You can close your account by logging in and navigating to the your profile page Once logged in you will first need to click on the delete account link. You will then be prompted with a confirmation window. If you are certain that you would like to proceed, please click OK. Please note that this is an irreversible action and cannot be undone. If you wish to use Indeed in the future, you can create a new account using the same or any other email address, however you will not have access to any of your original data.

Confirm my email/account?

To confirm your account, first check your inbox (associated with the email address you used to register with uk.thehrlink.com) to see if you received a confirmation email from us. If you didn’t receive a confirmation email from us, open your Bulk/Spam Email or Deleted Email folders to see if the email was directed there. Please also include notification@uk.thehrlink.com as a safe sender for any spam blocking software. If you are still unable to find your account confirmation email (after ensuring it has not been marked as spam), or if you have difficulty confirming your account, please submit a request to our Customer Support team using the link below.

I forgot my password?

If you would like to reset your password, please visit the sign in page: Click Forgot Your Password? at the bottom of the sign in box. Next, enter your email address and click Submit. If your email address is associated with an account, you’ll receive an email with a password reset link. Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox. Be sure to click the link as soon as you receive it – it’s valid for 24 hours.

I can’t sign into my account?

If you have forgotten your password, please click the Sign In link in the upper right corner of any uk.thehrlink.com page: Click Forgot Your Password? at the bottom of the sign in box. Next, enter your email address and click Submit. If your email address is associated with an account, you’ll receive an email with a password reset link. Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox. Be sure to click the link as soon as you receive it – it’s valid for 24 hours. If you continue to have difficulty signing in, perhaps you are trying to sign in to another site. When you click on a job listing on uk.thehrlink.com without the orange Apply for this job label, you leave our site and go to wherever the job was originally listed.

Find an employer’s contact details?

uk.thehrlink.com is not involved with the actual decision or hiring process for our search results; nor does uk.thehrlink.com have any contact information for the companies in our search results. If you would like to get in contact with someone about a position you saw on our website, you will need to contact them directly.

How do I upload my new CV?

You upload your CV either on your profile or by clicking post a CV and then fill out the process and upload your cv.

View my job application history (active and archived)?

You can view your application history on your profile where it says application. You can see the status of each one as well.

How do I change my email?

First, sign in and click your Profile. After you’ve changed your email address, we’ll send a confirmation email to the new address you entered. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password by going onto your profile and scrolling down to the bottom and where it says change password
